The model ...
In The Phantom Menace, Yané is played by model, Candice Orwell.

In 1997, Ms. Orwell was featured in a few print ad campaigns (Mossimo, Future Ozbek, and Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti). These advertisements appeared in both domestic (US) and foreign issues of the fashion magazines Elle and Vogue.

Ms. Orwell was represented by London-based modeling agency, Storm, but the removal of her pictures from the Storm site indicates that her ties to the agency have been severed.

No other information concerning her modeling career is known, and her film career seems to have started and ended with The Phantom Menace.

It is interesting to note the presense of "standmaidens" in The Phantom Menace. "Standmaidens" are simply uncredited extras that played handmaidens in one or two scenes. So while Candice Orwell is the person credited as playing Yané, perhaps some uncredited "standmaiden" also played the role.
